Our Mission

Let's Band TOGETHER to Ban the NDA
Silence protects no one. Across Australia, some workplaces use legal agreements called NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements) to stop people from speaking about harassment, bullying, discrimination or abuse. That means when someone is hurt or treated unfairly, they’re often told to stay quiet. That’s not okay. Confidentiality should protect victims — not protect bad behaviour. Ban The NDA is a national campaign calling for laws that stop NDAs being used to silence people who experience workplace harassment or unlawful conduct. If someone chooses privacy, that should always be their decision — never something forced on them. When people are silenced: Harm can continue. Others don’t get warned. Nothing changes. We believe: ✨ Survivors deserve a voice. ✨ Workplaces should be safe. ✨ Silence should never be bought. Australia has already started improving workplace laws — but there’s still a loophole that allows NDAs to hide misconduct. It’s time to close that loophole. It’s time to protect voices, not silence them. If you believe people should have the right to speak about harm, join us. Sign the petition. Share our news. Speak Up Australia. AND Together we'll Ban the NDA!
Why We Fight

We’re shining a light on how NDAs are used to silence people who experience harassment, bullying, or discrimination. The more of us who who ban together - to ban the NDA - the harder it is for Politicians to ignore us.
We’re lived experience volunteers campaigning for Australian federal laws to stop NDAs from being used to cover up unlawful conduct. Survivors should have the right to choose silence or speak — never be forced into it.

We stand with people who’ve been silenced or pressured to stay quiet. You are not alone, and your voice matters.
